Frogfoot is looking for a Marketing Intern to join our Marketing team and gain hands-on experience across campaigns, social media, content, events, activations and communications.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Marketing Intern, you’ll get involved in a variety of exciting marketing activities, including:

Supporting marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
Assisting with social media content, captions, scheduling and monitoring.
Supporting events, activations and community marketing initiatives.
Assisting with content creation, website updates and communications.
Supporting artwork briefing, proofing and brand/Corporate Identity checks.
Maintaining marketing trackers, calendars, databases and reports.
Assisting with marketing stock, promotional materials, printing and courier requirements.
Supporting supplier, agency and internal stakeholder coordination.
Preparing presentations, activation packs and marketing materials.
Contributing fresh ideas for campaigns, content and customer communication.
Taking ownership of assigned tasks and meeting agreed deadlines.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is ready to learn, grow and get involved.

You should:

Be a South African Citizen.
Be between 18 and 35 years of age.
Have completed Grade 12 / Matric.
Have completed a 3-year Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Media, Business Marketing or a closely related field; OR
Have completed a relevant Higher Certificate or Occupational Qualification at NQF Level 5.
Have a genuine interest in marketing, content, social media and communications.
Be eager to learn and develop your professional skills.
Be organised, reliable and able to meet deadlines.
Have good written and verbal communication skills.
Be comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
Be willing to take initiative and hop into the pond! 🐸

No previous formal marketing work experience is required. Exposure through tertiary projects, volunteering, campus activities, part-time work or personal marketing/social media projects will be advantageous.

Computer Skills We Value

You don’t need to know everything, we’re looking for someone who is comfortable with technology and willing to learn.

We value familiarity with:

Microsoft Word
Microsoft Excel – basic formulas, formatting and data capturing
Microsoft PowerPoint
Microsoft Outlook and email
Microsoft Teams
Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn
Canva or similar design tools
Online forms, shared documents, cloud folders and digital trackers
General computer literacy and the ability to learn new systems quickly
