VKB Milling (Pty) Ltd is one of four subsidiaries of VKB Agri Processors (Pty) Ltd, the agri-processing division of the VKB Group. VKB Milling (Pty) Ltd operates white maize mills in Mokopane and Louis Trichardt in Limpopo, and Mashishing in Mpumalanga, a wheat mill in Frankfort in the Free State as well as a maize mill in Christiana and a Wheat Mill in Modderrivier in the Northern Cape.

Job Function
The purpose of the General Worker role is to support day-to-day operations by performing a range of manual and operational tasks to ensure the workplace runs safely, efficiently, and effectively. The role contributes to maintaining site standards, supporting team members, and completing assigned duties in line with company procedures and safety requirements as well as any food safety regulations. 

Requirements

• Grade 10 or NQF 3
•  Minimum 1-2 experience in a similar industry 
• Clear criminal record 
• Ensure excellent service delivery. 
• Perform loading / bagging / storage and other relevant tasks with regards to products. 
• Driving of tractor when required to do so 
• Perform cleaning services. 
• Perform ad hoc tasks as needed 
• Physically fit

Operational Support 

• Completion of assigned tasks safely and efficiently 
• Support of daily operations to meet productivity and quality requirements

• Proper application of site procedures for rejected, segregated, or restricted grain loads 

• Prompt reporting of incidents, hazards, and non-conformances 
• Ensure adherence to Health & Safety, Food Safety, and HACCP procedures.
