INHERENT REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB

Prepared to work shifts, lift and handle heavy duty equipment and willingness to rotate within the institution according to operational requirement.

DUTIES (KEY RESULT AREAS/OUTPUTS)

General cleaning which include dusting, sweeping vacuuming, polishing, cleaning of windows and toilets scrubbing and mopping and removal of general refuse and medical waste. Execute cleaning tasks in order to ensure a clean, hygienic and safe environment. Safekeeping of equipment and supplies. Prevent medico-legal incidents.

COMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS)

Sound interpersonal and organising skills.

EXPERIENCE

Appropriate cleaning experience in a health facility environment.
