Sundowns Unveil Blue and White Rise Kit as Third Strip
Mamelodi Sundowns and Puma have revealed the Rise Kit, a white and blue third strip that goes on sale on 30 October and debuts on Saturday.
Mamelodi Sundowns have added a third strip to their 2026/27 wardrobe, revealing the Rise Kit in partnership with Puma South Africa, according to iDiski Times.
The new design joins the yellow home shirt and the blue away shirt that Masandawana launched earlier for the current season.
The idea behind the design
The kit draws its inspiration from the wide African sky. Its white and blue colours stand for hope, peace and opportunity, along with the belief that greatness has no limits. It also ties in with the club’s Never Stop Rising theme for the season, which speaks to a constant push for excellence and to the journey the Yellow Nation shares across the continent.
The release has been timed to match the club’s National Children’s Day activities. Sundowns say they will use the occasion to speak up for the rights, dignity, safety and empowerment of children, with the slogan “Every Child Deserves to Rise”.
Club ambassador Hlompho Kekana, a former captain, said the kit is meant to encourage young people to “dream beyond the skies”. He added that those in leadership should see it as a reminder to build surroundings in which children can be looked after and thrive.
What fans need to know
The Rise Kit will be worn in a match for the first time when Sundowns host Durban City in a PSL fixture on Saturday 31 October 2026. It goes on sale a day earlier, on 30 October 2026.
The prices are:
- Authentic players’ shirt: R2399
- Replica shirt for men and women: R1299
- Replica shirt for kids: R1199
Supporters can buy the shirts from Puma’s own stores and its website, as well as from Totalsports, Takealot and Studio 88.
Anyone hoping to wear the new shirt to the weekend’s match will need to buy it on Friday, the first day of sale, as the kit makes its on-pitch debut the following day.
