Ingrain is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Weighbridge Operator to join our Supply Chain team. This role plays a critical control point in ensuring the accurate weighing, recording, and documentation of all inbound raw materials and outbound finished products, supporting stock integrity, compliance, and efficient dispatch operations.


Job Description Key Responsibilities

Accurately weigh all inbound raw materials and outbound finished goods
Capture and record weights, product codes, batch numbers, and quantities on the system
Issue and verify weighbridge documentation (weigh slips, delivery notes, gate release notes)
Check supporting documents and report discrepancies immediately
Support stocktakes, audits, and reconciliation processes
Monitor vehicle loading to prevent overloading or underloading
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and legal metrology requirements
Communicate clearly with drivers, transporters, and internal teams
Prepare daily and monthly weighbridge and dispatch reports


Minimum Requirements
Matric / Grade 12
Certificate in Basic Accounting and/or Stock Control (advantageous)
1–3 years’ experience in weighbridge operations, warehousing, or logistics
Basic computer literacy (ERP/SAP experience advantageous)
Willingness to work shifts and extended hours when required
